The following few pages have been compiled regarding the auspicious life of hardhat sheikh Islam Maulana Saiyid Husain Ahmad Madani.
After returning to south Africa, I made a second trip to India in 1951, solely for the purpose of staying in the service of sheikh Islam. To relate whatever i had seen or heard during that time, is beyond my capacity.
Birth: 19 Shawwal 1296 (A.H) 1879 in Banger, Mao, District of Annoy.
Once on a journey to U.P., the train stopped to pick up passengers at a station. A person boarded and came to hardhat’s compartment. After introducing himself, he requested if hardhat could perform a Nikah which was going to take place at his residence. Hardhat asked to be excused, since he was presently on a journey, other people were travelling with him and to now remove all their luggage, get off the train and proceed just for the Nikah would be extremely difficult on all.
